Some of us older guys will fondly remember "Welcome Back Kotter"...Epstein passed away after a few years of poor health.

Too bad, he was pretty good on that show. Don't think that he did much later. I thought he might go somewhere, but apparently not.
Really liked that show.
I read some time ago that he went on to be some kind of a drama professor at a regular college. Also, he apparently was about the only one that wasn't in some Kotter reunion that they made many years later.
