I believe with an SCT you have an option to completely turn the EGR code off, so it will not come up at all

Anybody have an SCT tuner that will not load?? Mine gets up to 86% one time and quit...most of the time it is about 25-40%.Even had Mike go thru everything and also SCT tuners in Florida completely delete the program and format the new one from Mike.

First, I would suggest calling the dealer you got the tuner from.
Then if that's not feasible, call sct or post a question to them via their contac us @ SCT Performance - More Power! Less Fuel!...

since mine never did that, can't assist with what it may be.... other than your trucks battery is not up to the task ?
Do you turn EVERYTHING off when tuning other than the key on and no engine running?

what type engine, year, sct tuner ?
has it ever loaded correctly ?
what version of the flasher's software do you have ?
is the tune in the tuner for YOUR truck, not your buddies truck that's just like it

Just got it....brand new! Talked to Mike and SCT also. They deleted the programming out of it...formatted the tuner and installed the newest up to date software.
Brand new battery. Even hooked up a 6 amp charger also per Mike.....2001 F350 V-10. Everything was turned off. Just waiting for a replacement now to see if that works. Got it to load up to 86% one time...couple of times to 35-40%...most of the time it was 15-18% then it would quit.

My take is lucky you were able to start the truck then.....
as most computers don't take well to partial table or operating system loads

why I always loaded anything new during 'normal business hours' and usually had someone on the phone for new toys !

Mike sent another tuner....plugged it in and less then 10 minutes later everything was loaded. Other must have been defective.
