Emission Control Switch

So apparently my 2000 Ranger's CEL is kicked because of the emissions control switch...does anyone know where it's located? I was also told to look up the I-VAK have no idea what that is can anyone help me with this please?

It's just a 2000 ranger 4 cyl RWD no xlt or anything like that...

The computer/ECM decides when to turn the CEL on, based on sensor inputs it gets.

I too don't know what an I-VAK is, so run this puppy by your favorite autoparts store for a no cost computer trouble code scan & post All trouble code Numbers found, as they can offer up good trouble shooting clues.
