The one thing I always make a point of is pulling over in an area where it is safe for the leo. I will not stop on the side of the freeway, or anywhere else where it's dangerous to stand at a car window. I'll put on my flashers to acknowledge the lights, then pick a spot where he can approach the truck without worrying about getting hit. If I'm on the freeway I take the first exit, then find a driveway or parking lot off that.
And I'm always very, very nice - yes sir, no sir, I know I was speeding sir and I have no excuse except my truck is too fun to drive!
I agree with you on pulling over to a safe spot...denending on the LEO's day...some might yell at you to pull over immediately. If you don't this starts out the conversation with them pissed at you even though you ment it for a good reason.
I was out driving again after my first physical therapy appointment/meeting thingy majigy and remembered how much I love this truck. So much fun to drive. Saw a decked out 08ish F450 that was bad azz (I have never seen it in the area) with some nice train (Semi) wheels and a lift. Very inspiring.....
Pricing is a tough one. You might get a better return on removing your upgrades, putting the truck back to stock and selling the parts separate. Did you decide on the f450?
