I want to change the front suspension/steering/brake set up to one of these Mustang 2 kits.
Is there a kit that stands out or more than anything is there any to steer clear of.
Also they need to ship to Aus that seems the hard point aswell.
Helix will ship to Aus, and they seem ok
Want to go power steer, or does the manual rack make it better to steer anyway?
Just started on this so expect some questions on restoring this.
Thanks.

Hey Ranchero,
Welcome aboard! I can only speak to the Mustang II Front end
we installed over the summer. We used a set up from No Limit Engineering called their "Wide Ride". It was built a little heavier for trucks & came with large disc brakes, thunderbird power steering rack, coilovers or air ride, etc. The guy running the company has an old Ford truck. If you google them you can browse through their products.

Good luck over there!

I googled that and it says a Soarer is a Toyota Supra. Now you got me puzzled. I've never heard anyone here talk about putting a Toyota Supra IFS under a F1 or F100. Is this common down under? Do you have an photos or links to a discussion about it?

Soarer or Lexus SC400 coupe, same thing essentially. They have a cast alloy crossmember which is a very neat bolt in fit under a 34 inch frame.
I will take some pics of the crossmember and put em in my album, cos i dont seem able to post them here. John
