I saw that 63 Corvette tail lights fit the contour of the rear fenders on an episode of Gears. I thought I'd try it on a junk fender to see if I like it. What do you think?
I REALLY LIKE THE LOOK OF THESE. I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO FIND SOMETHING TO LOOK GOOD IN MY 49 F3 FOR TAIL LIGHTS. IM THINKING THIS IS WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR. COULD YOU GIVE A LITTLE DETAILS AS WHAT YOU DID TO MOUNT THEM IN THE FENDER
Looks good, now you can try the clear backup lights from a Vette for running lights like a previous owner did to the the last truck I bought a while back:
I still have the lights sitting on my desk. A lot of inventive custom body work on this beauty.
Vette 63-67. Careful if you buy them as there is a LH, center and RH mounting. Some use a flat black in the tube section for a different effect. Cuts down on the chrome. The last I seen for sale retail was about $75.00 each, new. Sometimes you can find them used at a car swap meet. chuck
Pretty slick looking. Looks like it was made for it. I might space them out just a tiny bit more, maybe about 3/8" or so? Or maybe not, it's hard to tell on these things, thank goodness for horrible photoshops to figure it out with!
