Have about 50k on the clock, love this truck...One thing drives me crazy!!! At about 55 to 60 mph the odometer starts squeaking. I know these are electronic and do not need to be greased. What can I do? Thanks for any help!!

when ever i hear noise's and squeaks i just crank up the stereo. 2 12's subs solve the problem.

 

Yeah but even we know that squeak is there even if its not audible!

Not familiar with the '06 odometer but very experienced with "rebuilding" that part of the instrument cluster in my (now-gone) '97 E250 its possible to lubricate that assembly although not for the faint of heart.

I thought the odometer and trip meters were digital after '05?

 

It may be the stepper motor for the speedometer.
