Fuel Pump Driver Module

Hi everyone.....I'm new here. I found your forums to be very informative when I needed to solve problems on my 2004 F-150 FX4. I was wondering if someone could tell me if once the fuel pump driver module is replaced does it need to be calibirated with the computer in order to work properly. I was told that it needed to by a Ford mechanic, but everything I read and videos I watch do not indicate that this needs to be done. I appreciate any input you can give. Thanks!

Not that I know of. While I don't know specifically for your '04. Ford Typically uses a closed-loop feedback system with a fuel pressure sensor. Shouldn't need to be calibrated.

I don't know if they are vehicle specific or not.
