a/c on c-series
Hi there looking for info on a/c unit on top of c-series truck i am in the process of buying a 1958 ford c-550 and need to know more about these units and if i could find one or is it better left alone Thank You for the help!

A/C ?
Not sure exactly what info you are looking for, as what I picture roof
mounted evaportor is really nothing special, it was just a basic system
such as a backhoe or what ever you will see these every day usually
most common on vans, meaning if you have a late van it is nearly
impossible for a add on (inside no room) A/C so they put it on the roof,
just like back in the day they put them in the trunk, and many were
installed under the vehicle. And I have never come across a C550,
you sure its not a C600 or C7,8 or 900?

The only A/C listed thru 1972 has the evaporator on the roof.
