He answered my PM on 10/7, wich was the last time he loged into the board. Ive respected his privacy, and have kept his message to myself, so far, but at that time He wasnt doing well at all,( He said good by to Me). Pray for miracles, and good things for Jim. I miss him alot here on the board. I had to ponder wether or not i should say anything now, i kept ( and keep ) checking to see if Hes loged in, but He hasnt. GOD PLEASE BLESS OUR FRIEND I hope i did the right thing by posting this.

Jimmy, There's nothing in your post that betrays the confidential exchange between you and HFJim. A lot of his FTE friends have surely been concerned about him and have been looking for an update. Asking for prayer and God's blessings on HFJim's behalf is a good thing Jimmy. We can all just keep him and his family in our thoughts and prayers, and know that God's plan for him is perfect.

I have looked at this thread and keep moving on to another thread. I am just gonna say that my gut isn't giving me that "warm fuzzy"...I pray that he pops up here and posts his next progress report...I am starting to wonder...it's been along time without even a hint.
I pray that, no matter where Jim is today, he doesn't have to suffer anymore.
I don't know Jim personally so I don't know what he would say about this, but if he got mad and jumped on here to rip me a new one, that would be great. I would gladly take it. At least we would know he has some fight left in him...
Jim, if you read this...we all have been thinking about ya....where in the "hellfire" have you been?

So sorry to read that Jim is not doing well. Here's to hoping we are jumping that 2012 brings him improved health.

Okay, I had about 10 or 15 minutes to spare, and I did a quick google search. Here's the deal. Jim had a HUGE internet presence on a LOT of different forums and online enthusiast sites. I even found a few articles he wrote about various things. I've figured out what his full name is, and his town. But I can't get any information further than that. I think you guys know what I was primarily looking for, and I'm gonna assume that "no news is good news" and leave it at that. Once I got into the search, I quickly realized that, believe it or not, Jim was seemingly much more active on about 2 or 3 other forums as compared to FTE. He even had some build threads with a lot of pictures of his truck that I don't think we ever saw. But, sadly, no new posts beyond this past late summer/fall on any forums that I could see without having to register for a membership on those places.

So if anybody else has more capabilities than me in doing this type of search, send me a PM, and I'll tell you what I have discovered from the "public record" of the internet. I don't think any of us want to pry, but a lot of us would like to know something. Maybe somebody who has actually met the guy could use what I found to possibly make a phone call or something.........

To my knowledge, Rojak is the only one here that had contact with him. Him and I were talking about going up there to see him when Jim felt up to a visit. I guess Rojak has been super busy at work. I wouldn't know where to begin..gonna send a PM to Rojak...
nice work Doc!

This is the reason I started a post some time back. If anyone on the board became sick, or worse, is there anyone you know that would post on the board and let us know? I know my family wouldn't. I think if nothing else it helps to know people care. I think it would nice for a ailing person to know there's people out there that care.

I hope everything is OK with Jim. If I was closer and had the time I'd jump in my truck and check out to see if he was OK. I had his address on some emails on my other computer but it crashed and died a few months ago.
