I look forward to the times when I can check in and read the latest posts, check out the pictures of everybody's trucks and wish I had enough money to do my truck the way I want to.
On here three or four times a day, looking most of the time. To cold to heat up the shop with the electric furnace ,cost to much. Don't do as much since I turned 70 and don't work on the vehicals as much. Do have to finish the falcon futura restoration before I get back to the 51 F-2. I have different plans for the 51 than what i started to do.___
I still occupy my stool here in the corner at least twice a day, but don't post much unless I've got something really useful to contribute. Doing some remodeling in the house, coming to grips with a divorce, finishing up a tractor repair project, and building a new powerplant for the '52 in between all of it. I'm hoping to actually start spinning wrenches on the truck itself next month or March at the latest. Here's to a better year this year for all of us!
Here!!! Kind of slow here in Kirkville. I have my trucks in storage in our Fire Company Pole Barn. I am going to have to pay a visit soon. I miss the real metal door slam when I get in and out, among other things.
Jeff
present! to many projects, not enough time and money. have been trying to gather parts for all of them. maybe i should focus on one at a time.......nah. the 66 galaxie is gonna get most of the attention in the spring and the 60 should get a new paint job. Sorry to hear about Hellfire Jim, RIP and Godspeed Ford brother.
I check in almost daily but haven't posted too often, still spending a lot of time reading and researching, bookmarking all the little tips and tricks I come across that I think will apply to my build or that I hope to get a chance to use sometime down the road on what will inevitably be future builds.
I've barely started this build and already like to talk about my next. My wife just shakes her head but I'm pretty sure she's not the first wife to not understand this sickness we all have.
I'm sure I'll be posting a lot of questions as I get further into my build!
Until then boys, keep it between the ditches and rubber down!
I'm here, part of the "OCCUPY FTE" movement . I lurk here daily, sucking up the ideas and knowledge of those who have actually done something with their trucks and believing I am entitled to the wisdom they've earned.
Though I am not truly an "occupier" by definition, because I hope to one day contribute something useful to this forum after I've worked hard and gained my own knowledge and experience...Oh, and I shower...and I have a job!
On second thought "Occupy" is not the greatest comparison!
Well I stop by now and then......... just do not seem to come here as much as I used to......... like others life has thrown me a few curves....... but still improving on the truck when I get time.
