I have a question for you guys. I currently own an 86 big bronco 5.0 302. It has oil leaks, water leaks and the timing cover is held together by JB weld. I think its time to get a new crate engine. but I'm not quite sure where to begin looking to get the best bang for my buck. any suggestions? Thanks
Well that should carbed, correct? If I were you I'd drop in a reman 351. There's a few little things to change, but for the most part it'll drop in and bolt up. Get the same MPG but with double the torque.

Their website isn't the best, but IMHO I would call gofastparts.com, they are besed in Redlands calif, prices are very good (yet to find anyone cheaper including shipping) and carry just about anything (including brand) crate engine known to man!
If you are thinking of going the reman 351 route, check with the engine rebuilder first to see if they will accept a different engine (302) back as a valid core.
well first off that year would be EFI. whats your budget? can you do the work or will a shop have to do it?
if you upgrade to a 5.8 you will need to get the proper flexplate since i assume you have an AOD tranny correct?
RJM Injection Tech — Welcome has mass air harness's that are practicly plug n play. your efi is unique and pinned differently then the 87+ models so if you upgrade to maf wiring changes will for sure be necessary. a donor truck would work also if the miles are low and it doesnt have any front end damage
