I have a '95 Bronco w/351 and plan to put this set up on.
BDS 4" lift with rear leaf springs.
Energy Suspension Poly bushings all the way around
Warn premium manual hubs
Parnelli Jones 33X12.5X15 tires
Mickey Thompson Classic Lock 15X10" rims. (would like to put Weld Stonecrusher rims but MT are $60 cheaper each)
What does everyone think of this set up for moderate 4 wheeling in the mountains of CO with some mud, snow and highway driving. It is not an everyday vehice just weekend and fun.
Next upgrade will be Detroit Electrac locker in back with 4.10:1 gears.
You will definately want the gears. The gears are key to keeping the engine within its power band. My 302 struggles in a good headwind at highway speeds because I haven't gone to 4.10's yet and have the 33's on it. My 92 is set up very similarly with the exception of the manufacturers on the equipment. While its kind of nice to run 70 mph at 1950 rpm its lousy for having power in reserve for passing and hill climbing.
