with 35's being max height for stock D44/9". if you plan to play figure a 4" lift and extremely cut fenders along with some $$$ put into both front/rear diffs
The most critical question is going to then be... what gear ratio do you plan on swapping in there? Stock ratio will NEVER cut it even if you only go as far as the recommended 35" maximum.
well i am pretty sure it has 410 gears and i got the grany low 4speed stick the fenders are haft rusted out the tires i am getting them for free they say on the sidewall they are 39 but they are shorter than my buddy 38 tsl boggers and they dont have much tread left but i can regroove them
Thats how much space i have for the fenders. You will need some sort of spacer if you like turning cause mine are 12.50 width and at full lock i rub on my radius arms and it makes my hole truck kind hop like the 4wd is engaged.
well buddy cant get those 39 off his 6 bolt chev rims so probly be getting a set of 35x12.50 off him
Even with 35s you might have space issues on the fenders BUT that doesn't mean you can't run with them. The only issue i have with mine is if i am backing out of a parking spot or pulling into one in a crowded area, i get "the hops" and i have to ease off it a bit.
