carb question

Ive got a 2100 series 2 barrel carb, of a 72 302. Im looking at the advance auto rebuild kit for the 2100 series. Are they all the same? Will some pieces not be used depending on specific version of the 2100? And what do i have to do to put it on a 72 351w? Jets? Thanks for the help. Carb number came out to d2tf-eb.

It been awhile since I played with a carb other then a Holley. Yes you generally will have some parts left over after a carb rebuild if the kit covers more then one model of carb. I can't say for sure on the kit you bought though.

The jetting may need to be changed but run it the way it is and see what you get before changing anything. The plugs and the way it drives will tell if it needs a change.

That's why I like FI. It adjusts for you.
