My '97 Powerstroke is hard starting in the mornings but start fine the rest of the day. I had the glowplugs replaced 27K ago. It seems to help, maybe, or maybe not that when I turn off the ignition and try again it wants to start.
I plugged the block heater in but found it may have quit.Are these dificult to replace?
Anyone have an idea what may be the problem(s)? I thought maybe the relay was gone. Thank you in advance. Paul

Every once in awhile, usually after I have been at work for 10 hours or so and my truck is sitting outside in close to 0* F temps with 20 MPH winds or so and I start the truck, I can hear what sounds like an electric motor running for a little bit. Any ideas on what that is?
