Dentside inner fenders and rad support

Dentside inner fenders and rad support
I know you can do it, all you have to do is drill some holes out and get new fasteners. Now heres the question, has anybody else done this on here with some good pictures? I know the other truck site did a tech article over this but I want some good pictures. I'm doing this cause my core support is trashed and one of my inner fenders is pretty torn up. The ratio of dents to bumps in my junk yard is like 4:1 so this would be easier for me, and I like the way the inner fenders work

If, I remember right. The 73-up inner fenders will not work with out the fenders and hood springs and hood. The radiator support is an ez install. Just like 2 or three holes to make. But you need to find one that mounts the way your radiator is the same way as your does. Some radiators mount in the front rail bracket & some mount on the rear. So you'll have to find one that your rad will mount too.

There are TWO different radiator supports for 1967/72 F100/350 / TWO different radiator supports for 1973/79 F100/350 with round headlamps.
The difference has to do with the optional Super Cooling Radiator (SC/R).
The SC/R is higher (taller) than the Standard, Xtra Cooling and A/C radiators, so the SC/R supports have a larger opening radius.
The top tank of the SC/R is HUGE, overlaps the core and is wider and deeper than the other radiator top tanks.
If you do not have the SC/R and you install a SC/R support, you'll soon discover that the radiator mounting flanges will have nothing to bolt onto.
So, you'll have to modify the mounting flanges.
SC/R: 26 1/4" wide x 24 1/4" high / Standard, Xtra Cooling & A/C radiators: 26 14" wide x 19 3/4" high.

The radiator support and inner fenders will interchange 67-78. There are a couple of holes to drill but I don't remember which ones. The hood spring assemblies mount up with the 67-72 hood whether inside or outside of inner fenders. It has been done on my 1970 and the newer pieces are more rust resistant.
