Yes, use the Lisle tool. I changed plugs on my truck and fortunately none of them broke off. Good luck with your plug removal and change them about every 30,000 or two years going forward. The plugs are about $15 apiece which is a little high IMO.

I put Champions in every one I have done . Never have to worry about one breaking again . NEVER have any driveability issues with the Champions . I do always put in new boots and springs.
