Pulled the trigger today

Purchased the esp premium care extended warranty for another four years. Last time I can do it but does give peace of mind. Includes rental car. Good till 2016.

If I spent that kinda money on an ESP I would hope to get a few NEW parts out of the deal to

Usually what happens to me is I would get the 4 year warrenty and wouldnt have an issue till 4years and 2 days
Or even better I paid 1200.00 for an AM warrenty and it ended up being toilet paper company was out of Buisness when I needed to use it

I wont ever Buy another warrenty again
I could do quite abit for the$$$ 1500.00-2000.00 or whatever he paid
But its good to have in case you drop a tranny or something as long as the warrenty isnt worded to where they get out of fixing it

They went by the mileage on my truck and it had to still be on the esp warranty from when I bought the truck new. That warranty runs out tomorrow. It cost me 2485 for 4 years and 48,000 miles. My truck is just under 48,000 miles now so I should be good for the four years. When we have decent weather here, most of the year, the Harley or mustang gets the miles. The truck does get it's exercise when pulling the 31' 5er and that's usually going thru the Sierras.

I thought so. Took a little negotiating. My dealer has been pretty good with me since I bought the truck. I do try to stay with people, dealers, that treat me right. I also like my tech. Access anytime I want to talk to him. Thanks for the confirmation Cheezit.

That's a pretty good deal that they will let you renew for so long. I didn't know that it was possible. I know on new policies, even if you buy it at the same time as the vehicle, 7 years is as long as Ford will go. So extending it to 11 years is great!

I think they looked at the year and his milage and thought He doesnt drive it that much and odds are Nothing Majoir will happen He might need a Battery or Alternator or Stand pipe/dummey plug maybe a Ball joint But nothing Majoir. They would be Crazy Not to take his 2500.00 an a truck with 50K miles. Now if it was 6.4 or 6.7 I would want a warrenty to Those coomon rail fuel system problems are spendy

Its a Gamble for shure But Ford is Like the Casino and the casino is always Ahead 50K on a Deisel Is nothing . I see this in Fords Favor

Does anyone know what the Criteria is for when Ford wont extend a Warrenty. Like 100k and no more???

Im shure the bean counters look at the Overall work up 100K and below a 100K low risk but over 100K is high Risk
