I've been throwing together a site dedicated to 300 information. My concentration is on the emissions side of things seeing how specifics can be hard to come by. It's slow with some pop-ups (what do you expect for free?), but I do have all the '77 truck calibration prints scanned and posted as well as the '79 vacuum circuits. I know the site is hokey, but I haven't had much time. If you have any special hard to get information that you're privy to, and you'd like to share, let me know. I should have the '78 prints up soon. Just don't crash the site...it took forever to upload the scans with my "dial up" connection.

You are a great person to care about the I-6 so much. Thank you for not having another EFI only site, thank you for going for the granddaddy sixes!

Chas, the B&W is from an "Owner's and Operator's Manual" for the C5PG & C5PF industrial motors. Notice the governor and odd bell? I intend to overhaul the main page once I get some shots of my project 300. I'll be sure to slip a better scan into the site somewhere....I need to check out the legalities of my site.

UPDATE: I've scanned in some more stuff on the emissions side. I have all the calibraitions for '83 in. I also scanned a glossary of terms and some symbols. The symbol page doesn't load the thumbnails, but the hyperlinks work. My goal is to have all the carby TRUCK calibrations scanned in from '73 on up to '86?

Looks good- I am sure it will be a great site before too long. If you need pics of the 300-6, I have a few of the one in my truck. Sure it's modified, but you can show an anti-emissions 300, right? I also stumbled across a near-free website host- EV1.net. That's who I am using for e-mail right now, and they give you 300 megs of web space with your account, and you can use Frontpage. I actually was considering setting up a 300-6 website, with help from Jon, but time just hasn't allowed it yet.

If you'd like some space in a non-popup environment, I can host on bigblocksix.com. Its not the most stable (as you may have noticed) but there are no popups and I doubt you could run me out of disk space (and if you did, i've got a couple more just sitting here looking at me funny). Email me if you're interested.

Thanks for the offer and info. I'm holding on host selection untill I get most of it scanned. The little I have for you two years of calibrations is up to 50 megs already. I have some toying around to do with the quaility of the scans. I really need to find a larger scanner...the splicing to get 11 X 17's is very time consuming...let alone my dial up upload time....but I'm working on it. There will be alot more stuff than emissions, but I figure that emissions data is the hardest info to come by. Cheers!

Nice site. There's gonna be a lot of good info there. What book are you getting all of this out of?

I've got the official 1986 horsepower/torque ratings for every configuration I think the 300 was put in. Let me know if you want those.

Well, i've got 30 gigs free on that array right now, and i've got 3 more 18.4 gig drives I can add on to said array, and if that don't cut it I could always put in some spare IDE drives. If you can fill in a couple hundred gigs, i'd be perfectly happy to do it
