My 2000 just came up with a code p1391. No cel,no problems starting I just hooked up my autoenginuity to clear codes created by me replacing my battery terminal ends. I cleared codes and did a test and got p1391. It was not there before i cleared the codes. My main question is which side is bank one? I did a search and I keep seeing it refered to as right and left bank not 1 or 2. Thanks!

 

Guessing I would say passenger side. 1,3,5,7 injectors. And side two, 2,4,6,8 injectors. Maybe someone will pop in and say for sure. Is it rinning bad?

Thanks for the reply. Truck runs and starts fine. 22 degrees this morning the truck was pluged in. I just found an old post that says bank 1 is right side. I assume u r correct on the passenger side. Looks like I will be metering glow plugs when I get home. Will see if it starts when I leave after work today, truck is sitting all day not pluged in and it's about 15 now and temps are dropping by the minute. Hope it starts!
