major oil usage
Ive done several searches, but I dont think I came up with anything applicable to this. I have an 02 f350 with the v-10. 160k miles. It is now using over a quart of oil every 100 miles. It smokes a little, but not much at all. I do notice that it pretty much spits raw oil out of the tailpipe though. You start it up by the house, and the siding will have oil specks all over it. I dont think its going by the rings, because its got good power, starts easily everytime, and doesnt hardly smoke, like I said. Im unfamiliar with mod motors, so im not sure what the most likely culprit is. I did check over the whole pcv system, replaced the valva and the tube and elbow, still the problem persists. It has been steadily getting worse. Any guesses?
