We replaced the timing cover and oil pan. The bearings, though they look really bad in the pictures they weren't too bad so we left them. Time will tell how much damage really was done to injectors and HPOP. The oil pump looked perfect which is surprising considering the stop leak and coolant that went through it.
yikes... good advice. tryed to rep you for this, but i'm in jail for you
i'll change my fluid too and flush the system as well, but i can't figure out what kind of fluid i can use of them they are available here in europe. tried to search basf chemical's website, but if i reading the spec's of the fluid they recommend i'm in doubt it's the right one....
if anyone of you can help me out, it will be greatly appreciated. i will not destroy my engine
Surely they saw the hole when they replaced the water pump? I have gotten into the habit that I inspect everything when I'm replacing something. Not only what that "part" is connecting to, but the old one as well.
As far as coolant, I've been running the Fleetguard stuff for the last several years. I think that's the name of it.... It's the one with a picture of the semi on front that's precharged.

I just bought a gallon of that and was wondering if that was any good. I noticed it's a redish color so I wasn't sure if it was the right stuff.
The truck does need a radiator flush though.
The green and redish can't be mixed right.
