hydroboost brake convertion?

hydroboost brake convertion?
What is need to do this? Can I use the obs Steering pump or will I need to go sd? Anyone that has done this there info would be great. I really don't want to dump any more money into the brake system but out of things to do to fix my soft pedal. I called ford and they want 247.99 for a zero loss booster. If I.m going to spend the cash Id rather it be a one time deal!

I hear ya. Just saw your other thread on your brake problems. All I know about the hydro boost is you'll be using the system from the F-Superduty. Here's a couple links I dug out of the tech sticky.

I just Put hydro boost on one of my trucks the master cylinder needs modified and you will have to modify a push rod for it buy the hydroboost unit and 2 ps lines for it a couple hose clamps and some return line and a t fitting and your set
