ok am new here looking for some input with brake pedal i don't loose the pedal .when i use the brakes and the brake lites will come on when the pedal moves about 1.5 inches and seems the brakes are fine no pulling one way ? would it be the vacuum pump i have no issues with driving this way but i know its not right thanks
If the vacuum booster is bad usually the brake pedal gets very hard.
I found that all I had to do to firm up my breaks was adjust the rear drum breaks.
This is simple to do .. About a 10 mim job. An indication that this might be the problem as well is if you have to really smash the parking break to get it to hold.
now that i think of if the parking brake not hook up i just got this trurk so this is only one of the issuse i have with it 95 ccb 4x4 psb 19000 thanks
Yes when the vacuum pump fails the brake gets hard. Also agree with the rear adjusment brakes. Other thing check the brake fluid level in the reservoir and maybe need to purge of the system.
