What engine do i have

I bought a 2003 f250 King Ranch Monday. The dealer says he thought it was a 6.0 but when the bank pulled uo the vin it says 7.3. The manufacture date on the truck is Jan 2003. Thanks

If you have the VIN of the vehicle, you can use that number to get the information about your vehicle here:

The 6.0 will have chrome and red door badges that say powerstroke diesel and the 7.3 will have black and silver door badges. Thats one way to start

Thanks. I verified it has the red and chrome and the vin pulls up 6.0

I hope this was not a Ford dealer that couldn't tell what engine you have by just looking at it.

I agree...the engines look totally different! Find another Ford dealer!
