I am going to be replacing my front wheel bearings>>>>again! I have oversized tires and of course the morons here put orignal wheel bearings on so it ate threw them in exactly a year!!! so can anyone suggest where to get some that will actually hold up to over sized tires!!!
Sounds about right. I ran 35's for a while and never had any problems with wheel bearing on my 94. The ones you have should be 37's iirc. I'd replace the bearings and races with timken and give it a shot. The shop may not have packed them well either or at all. Who knows. I know racing late models I didn't pack one well and it got real noisy real quick. Got in a hurry and did put as much as I should have and this is only a 2000 lbs race car. They are cheap to change if you are capable of doing it yourself. And there are quite a few bearing packing tools out there now that make it much cleaner and consistent.
thanks....we will see...I just know when I was heading home I had problems then I got out and looked and it is really at a v now so I will try that whenit gets warmer I think I am going to just new brakes and rotors while I have it a part.....hopefully it gets half way warm soon cuz it will kill my arthritis
I know what you mean. Check all or your spring bushings and ball joints as well. The tires will eat ball joints in a hurry though.
I'm on mobile is your truck 250 or 350. The ttb can wear the center bushings out as well and cause the same problem.
I'd say. 37s on a stock 250 are pushing the limits. I'd say a combo of spring bushings and ball joints are causing the problem. I could never get my 94 to sit straight but 96 sits perfect which was one reason I bought it. People that know ask if I have swapped a 60 in because it sits like it does.
