As for bulbs many like the Silverstars. Although they do not last long in my motorcycle, possibly due to vibration.

I have the Silverstar Ultra's in my 3000GT. If I could find a lens I liked for my F250, haven't looked, I would run them. A bit pricey but put out great light. I have bought new sets on ebay cheap enough to carry spares. Two have gone out in 4 yrs. Relays for full power closer to the lights I believe help the brightness of regular halogens.
