I bought an 01 Excursion Limited last April. I got a great deal and love the truck. Heres the deal though. Through family problems this truck belonged to the womans husband who died and then her son had a motorcycle accident so I bought the truck from their neighbor who was selling for her. So he knew nothing about the truck. The truck still looks new and was well cared for.
PROBLEM. How do I get the DVD to play through the cars speakers or the speakers at the over head console above the back seat? I have both remotes. one for the tv and one for the DVD and the head phones do work. just trying to figure this out.
Someone else will have to clarify, but I believe that the DVD players are not "factory" installed. They are dealer installed option, so therefore there are many different models of DVD players out there. You might try searching the manufacturer of the DVD player. Just my .02. You may need to post a picture of your player.
my DVD is the factory installed one and only has one remote. All I have to do play over the truck's speakers is put a dvd in, hit play, and hit the CD button twice on the head unit until the display says "CD/DVD."
