hey guys figured it was a good time to do some venting. so i got a remote start installed from a local ford dealer. first day everything was fine. days after seemed like was getting harder and harder to get the remote start to start, like it was getting more picky about where i had to be to start it. secondly, my fog lamps have been out since the install which i just noticed today. finally, they told me the lights are supposed to flash and after the woman at the dealership told me that the remote start wiring ties into the lighting system i made the connection and realized that the lights aren't flashing when it starts like its supposed too. So i got underneath the dash today and realized that all the connections made are connected by what i call butt connectors. I know from previous experience its hard to make good reliable connections with butt connectors. I was kind of upset at the lack of quality done by the dealership. anyone else have insight? I don't think it was right at all that they used butt connectors. what do u all think?
so i took it back to the dealer to see about the problems and i found out the headlight switch is bad now. starting to get fed up with all the problems...
