It shouldn't, but those were the stock injectors on many trucks, and in my opinion, probably the best ones to run. My 86 F350 with the 6.9 had BB codes which I just took apart and cleaned.
I think you'll find that most guys here will recommend the BB codes. Most will also say not to get remanufactured injectors so that only leaves BB codes because that's all you can get new anymore.
