Low exhaust temps?

Doesn't sound like an exhaust leak if the boost gauge pegs fast like that. You do have 4.10's like mentioned, but towing 16k WILL suck like mentioned also with stock injectors. My trailer is the same weight, just 8' longer is all, and it works good to tow with my setup but I have a lot more power than you now.
I still think jody has the tunes limited for you. Maybe they knew you pulled a big trailer like you do and were extremely careful tuning your chip? Just a thought. No matter what, your truck will struggle with that big trailer and 90cc injectors.
I don't know if you've ever thought about upgrading them, but Jim at Rosewood Diesel can rebuild them into stage ones (what I did) for a very reasonable price, then you would have a different truck. Combined with the intercooler you're putting on and a reburn of your chip and you'd be like a kid with a new toy. You would need a bigger hpop to push the oil to them also.
IMO you're just asking too much out of a 15 yr old stockish truck. You have options like mentioned, or you could spend 50k on a new one. That's probably not an option or you wouldn't be here with us. It sure isn't for most of us.

I love the truck, it's a beast. No rust and overall in great condition. Nothing like a black and chrome OBS dually. I will invest the money and get Jim to fix me up some injectors and a HPOP upgrade. I was pretty sure that's the route I needed to take after I eliminated the other things. Hard to know for sure if you have nothing to compare the performance to. My first Powerstroke and all. I know one thing, when you are driving this truck unloaded it hauls. Thanks again to all for the help.
