Just started the factory order for my dream truck yesterday evening
2012 F150 SCrew XLT, Pale Adobe Metallic/Pale Adobe interior
5.0L, 4x4, 6.5' box
HD payload package
Towing package
XLT Convenience Package
Trailer brake controller/fog lights
Remote start
Premium sound w/6CD
Trailer tow mirrors
Power sliding rear window w/defrost
Rear view camera
Looks like I should have it by the end of March. Got the deal I wanted. It will be replacing a 2009 Corolla with 90k (145,000 kilometres up here), and the extra gas will be worth every penny. Can't wait

Congrats!
This is very similar to the truck I ordered. Msalyer on here took delivery not too long ago, his truck is almost exactly like yours.
Don't set your mind too much on the expected delivery date, some are quicker, sometimes it takes longer. I placed my order on 10/15/2011, and I am still waiting. My truck was just built four days ago.
(1) your dealer. Sometimes that is not the best option, LOL, I know ...
(2) Ford chat. I replied to your post in the other thread on how to get to it.
(3) you can post your details here to get updates: Vehicle Locator By Ford Employees - Blue Oval Forums Make sure though that you read ALL the rules before posting. You do get reliable updates there.
I am a little confused about your order. How did you order these with an XLT:
Remote start
Premium sound w/6CD
Trailer tow mirrors
Are those dealer add-on's?
Edit: Is the reason that you are in Canada maybe, and get it configured like this up there?
Those are all individually selectable factory options on an XLT in Canada. The only "package" that is available on a Screw XLT (besides off-road and trailer tow) is the XLT Convenience Package which includes the power pedals, power drivers seat, LCD in cluster, SYNC and leather-wrapped wheel. The trailer tow mirrors are even available without a trailer tow package.

Thanks! Your truck (specifically, your thread with all of the pictures and info) was one of my influences in getting the HD payload package. I'm not even worried about the wait. I'd rather start driving the truck in the spring anyway (snowy, slushy mess here right now).
Canadians can get a few different options than we can. The tow mirrors are more available to them for one.

never realized there was a difference between trucks made in the same factory but ordered in a different country in options available how does this make sense I guess the same as the price difference. But it explains some posts saying some options eliminate others.Oh ya congrads on new truck looking at a lot the same truck only a scab andXTR package
where do you go to look up the progress of the order?
If you'd like to join over at the f150online.com forums as well (I just did), they have a tracking forum that is very helpful. If you use it, it would be wise to contribute over the rest of those forums as well.
