Posted this in the superduty forum as well but since i have a 6.0 seems you guys are better at helping out with problems.
So I feel this every once in a while. I will be going down the highway and if feels like the truck kind of jerks back while going down the road. The RPM's never change or anything. Didn't know if it was in the overdrive in the tranny or the torque converter. No codes are being thrown eather.

sounds like a torque converter/transmission problem but really with the limited info its really just a guess. anyway to monitor the ICP like high binder was refering to?
I'm having the same issue with mine. Ran thru alot of options and have yet to fix it... Imma have it looked at by the dealer next week and I'll let you know the outcome
Called my ford dealer today talked to the service guy. He is a great guy to talk with. Said that it could possibly be a sensor or could be in the torque converter maybe kicking in and out or in the overdrive. Have to call up on Monday and talk with the trans. specialist. Probably will take it there and let them drive it with the computer hooked up to it so they can watch the pressures in the in transmission. I guess if I need a tranny or torque converter I will not go to the ford dealer I will head to St. Lucas to the Gorend Brothers and let them build them for me. They did a tranny for my brothers 7.3. Guarnteed it to a certain hp plus a nice warranty for a very good price.
Just curious as to why you would think it would be an ICP sensor. I personally have no clue what it is but when it does this cut out thing the RPM's don't change nor does the Boost. In all honesty I hope it is the ICP sensor because it will be ALOT cheaper and faster to fix.
I mentioned both the ICP and IPR - thats one way a failed ICP and/or bad IPR acts (bucks and jerks) - smarter to rule out the cheap things rather than start with the expensive ones. Unfortunately there are a number of things that can cause it to have your symptoms (also EBP, injectors, turbo, high pressure oil leaks, etc). As LSAtexan was saying, it sometimes takes quite a bit of legwork to resolve the issue. A scantool is very handy for 6.0L troubleshooting. Also - watch your rpms when it jerks - see if they jump around. Jumping to the assumption that is tranny related (especially without the tow/haul blinking) can get expensive.
