I am trying to decide between two tires. Currently I have the BFG 275/65/18 rugged trails that were stock. Those are definitely out of the choices now. I am looking at a set of Terra Grapplers 275/65/18 and the Hankook DynaPro ATM RF 10 275/65/18. Any input on the two would be appreciated. Thanks!
both are good choices, i went through the same problem 1 1/2 yrs ago and ended up with the hankooks. i would do it again in a heartbeat. i recommend them all the time. never had any problems with them, and i have put them through some serious testing. and personally, i think they look better/ more aggressive than the terra grapplers
They are cheaper as well from what I found. Could you possibly post a picture of your tires? I want a slightly more aggressive tire. While I spend most of my time on the highway, I do spend plenty on the farm and hunting. Plus I like the little more aggressive look.
I got Cooper discoverer AT 3's put on mine in Oct. I love the look of them and they ride good. Pretty aggressive, but great on the highway too. Here's some pics of mine https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...-my-truck.html
Just some food for thought. There are a lot of good tire brands out there. If you find something you like then I'm sure it will be good.
Unit in your old thread, those tires are 275s...Are they about the same size as 33s? My truck is the exact same size as yours, but I was planning on at least putting 315s on mine.
WEll gentlemen, i went with the terra grapplers. 275/65/18 and i really like the look of them. before you all jump on me, the pics will soon follow. 4 of them mounted and out the door for $937.00. I had one quote me at $1125.00 so i was pleased with what i spent, especially for these rediculously high 18's. Pics will be along soon, but so far I really like them. There is just a slight noise at 75mph, but that was with the radio off. Otherwise, with the exhaust adn the sub in the back seat, I dont hear anything unless I want to!:P
