Is the buzzing you hear coming from the relay, as in the relay turning off and on really fast? CHeck to see if you have power on the battery side of the rrelay while you ared holding the button in, I suspect a bad connection there or between there and Battery +
Okay guys got the glow plugs working. It was the relay. Now that's out of the way do these have tach sensor the old motor the tach work but now it don't with the swap motor any help would be greatly appreatied. I will get some pic up soon
that is the fast idle temp sensor.
it tells the injector pump the engine is below 100 degrees or so so the fast idle and timing advance circuits will work.
the truck will run cold with it disconnected, but it will run better cold with it hooked up.
I just wanted to thank all of you guys for your help with the recent project. Oh bye the way it wwas 15 degrees in Kansas the morning and the truck fire right up without being plug in. It has not started like that for at least 7 yrs. Cause of the new return lines and new injectors seals and glow plugs it is back and running great. Just wanna say thank you guys one more time
