My truck is:
2003 ford F-250 4x4 with a 5.4 and a 6 sp manual
Well, today I had some trouble with my truck miss firing again. I thought that I had somehow burnt out another plug, but I was wrong. When I finally got home the codes were
P0625
"Knock s1 ckt (b1)"
and
P1151
"lack of ho2s- 21 switches- sensor indicates lean (b2,s1)"
Can anyone explain these to me?
My truck is stock except for a 3" exhaust (the p.o. removed the cat before I got the truck) and I have mike's 87 tow tune from 5 star.
Just FYI, I was on my way home from delivering a load of straw when the cel light came on, but it acted up a couple of different times when loaded. The trailer and straw together weigh about 11,000lbs.
no suggestions?? When I searched, the people with the knock sensor code had a couple other codes that I did not get. And the people with the lack of ho2s code hade an odb II code about incomplete check (which I didn't get).
Thanks,
Robert
Boy that works for me has a 150 but it's a 5.4.....he had a similar problem..turned out to be the coil pack for #1 cylinder. IIRC he said that the dealer told him that if you washed the engine frequently they would get corroded? I ran AE on it but I think the code was something like #1 cylinder misfire detected?? I have a diesel so I'm not real familiar but I would take a look a the coil packs/wires.
about 5000 miles ago I had missfires that I couldn't figure out. @ that time the injectors were fine. The truck runs normal right now, just the one occasion of no power( I pulled over b/c I thought I had a flat but when I took off again the truck ran fine) and a couple of times with the missfire(about 10 sec each time)
Well, those codes indicate a lean condition which would mean low fuel mixture to air ratio. Look at injectors or maybe fuel pressure. There are sensors that would cause this too.
