I thought about getting a reman and putting in. I was quoted jsut over a grand labor if I supply all the parts. My buddy at Advance ordered me a full rebuild kit and TC from TCI for super cheap. All together if the shop doesn't try and screw me with labor it'll cost right around $1600 for my trans to be rebuilt with TCI parts. not too bad considering a reman is usually about 1400 and thats stock.

Man that's still expensive. I was actually looking into the ones on that website and for less than 1200 i could get a streetfighter c-6. But i also kind of wanted to keep the one i have just for the feeling of knowing that i still have what it came with. I don't know if it is the original trans and doubt that it is but you never know.
