Yea the wonderful 03 is got a oil leak, best i can tell it from the front . Was installing new energy suppension bushings on my front stablizer bar nice and smooth how , but noticed front hogs head a little oily . It doesn't seem to leak much sitting but when motor is running. I looked in tech folder under wyatt's post on oil leaks and it seems could be crank or cam sensor or front seal or and i hate this word bed plate. The back of motor seem to be pretty dry besides the drop of oil thats on the bell housing that never hits the ground. Well what do yall thing.
I think that pic could be the regulator or the front main IMO I didnt read the thread but maybe his was just the LPO regulator but I think you would have something similair if it were a Front main either way it would drip there
I use to have that bell housing oil drip but since I reringed the injectors and not making oil anymore it dryed up bed plate seeped to at that time but has also dryed up
so I guess what Im saying David is check that oil leval alittle high oil leval seems to raise hell
I was thinking that about this time of year you was thinking about tearing back into it for studs or are you still covered up with work?? seams like a dry year here
Benny hoping leak is simple not font main or bed, still got plenty of work no time for studs now was hoping to have about a month off to get them in . Hows your work going.
Okay pulled truck in garage got under it and after closer look appears to be coolant , yea my ELC red kinda looks like oil . First i thought water pump but its coming from the little hose on the radiator that goes to degas and the one my coolant filter ties in to . I broke it off when doing oil cooler and other stuff , then epoxied ti back on it lasted for 2 months then drilled it out and screwed in a 1/4 inch hose barb in and put epoxy around it . So thought it was good time for plan C, but thank god its not a oil leak.
