New member lots of questions, put a 74 model frontend under my 68 to get powersteering and disc brakes.Problem is my steering is way to easy no sensitivity how can I get more road feel?
That's 70s power steering unfortunately. I know on GMs you can change out the torsion spring to adjust the steering effort, I'm not sure if you can do something like that on the Ford boxes though.
If I may, You have a huge change and driving it is the best way to get what you are looking for. I believe it's there, but not being used to it, you don't feel it.
Actually I did this several years ago and just gave up on fixing it.Have spent several hundred dollars at alignment shops. It has 6degrees of castor now and is so sensitive handling I will not let anyone else drive it.What is the maximum amount of castor you can get away with?
