Years ago I read on here about converting from 5/16" to 3/8" for better flow. I always thought about doing this but didn't know about the fittings.
I used most of the existing line but added 8" of 5/16" brake line. The fitting on the brake line attaches right to the fitting in the transmission and then attached the other end to some hose and then to the existing line that came off the truck. I would assume to upgrade to bigger line all you would need is some time to bend it and flare it... Pretty simple really.
Another suggestion while you're at it. I installed a piece of high temp sheathing on the line next to the down pipe. That cooler line is too close to the hot d/p.

But as usual, it doesnt say crap about what the threads are. I talked to 3 transmission shops and they all said it was 1/4" NPT. Which I do NOT believe.
Im picking up a E4OD on Saturday. Once its in my garage, I will check the thread pitch and style. It does look like NPT though. I was thinking it might be NPS.
