What he said.
I always try to tell my customers that you really do get what you pay for.
The more money you INVEST in new parts, the better the injectors will be and the longer they will last.
If you want a Budget Build you must send in YOUR set. I will not send out one of my sets with used parts, so you get back what you send in for the less expensive build.

No, unfortunately even the Budget stage I's aren't in "my budget" right now. Someday though I hope to have Jim build me a nice set of Stage one premiums. Right now there's just too many other things that take precedence and the truck doesn't get much spent on it. I have to replace the things that are pressing and take the most economical route possible to get this thing into shape.

No problem here with my budget injectors after 40k miles.
They rattle a bit louder now, but I expected that.
It clears up as the truck warms up.

I did the budget build, but I had sent in a set of core injectors along with the ones from my truck (worked that out with Jim).

He replaced some of the parts that were getting worn and worked out a really good deal for me.

It's worth sending him an email and telling him your situation and what you want.

I literally just picked up my truck from the shop after getting Jim's premium rebuilds in them. I was a bit dissapointed at first. I was only hitting 15 pounds of boost and it wasn't that kick in the pants I expected.

Then I realized the chip was in stock setting. I fixed that at the stop light and about **** my pants when I spun my truck around on the next turn. It's safe to say that she screams and easily hits 30 + pounds of boost. The traffic behind was blacked out by the smoke. I wish she didn't smoke that much, but part of the package i guess until I can get it re-tuned.

Jim since you're subscribed on here and burnt my chip, does your's smoke like that, or should I get a reburn on it down the road to tweak some things? Runs great though, and I havn't stopped smiling since I parked it, and can't wait for work to get out so I can hit the highway!

FWIW Bill, I had him reburn mine last year and if you get after it hard it smokes quite a bit. But runs REAL GOOD..just like you say. I don't notice any smoke in normal driving unless I provoke it. I'm really happy the way mine is now.

It's like a different truck ain't it.

Yes, thats a good point. It does run good! In my "honeymoon" period I'm provoking her every chance I get. I imagine once I burn through these 40 gallons I will lay off it a bit and will only see the smoke when needed. First tank is to test performance, the second tank will test MPGs

I have Hypermax stage 1's in my pile 'o chit. She runs good, smokes like a chimney though. I get a lot of white smoke on start up as well, but with the temps we've had here it's just the nature of the beast. My SD did it too, whitey wasn't as bad.

Whitey will live on vicariously through many other vehicles, including my own. A couple fellow FTE'rs have picked up whitey parts as well.

Already has the u-bolt thingy that goes below the driver side of the axle there from Whitey.
