HELP! Clutch Fan

Anyone have any tips/ tricks for this clutch fan!? I cant get the dang thing loose!

Also, I'm getting to the point in the day where I might not finish the WP replacement by the time its dark. And I need the truck tomorrow. I have about 7 gallons of distilled water. Can I run my truck on distilled water until I get another change to tear into it? Which will be Tuesday.

I rented the fan clutch removal tools from autozone. You should be ok to run it with distilled water as long as it's not going to freeze.

Doubt it will freeze in SoCal.

I have the tools from AutoZone. I also used a pipe wrench and even the chisel method. NOTHING worked.

You have the tools from Autozone and they aren't working?

Yes, you can run with just distilled.

I used a wrench from autozoo and then a HUGE crescent wrench on the nut to break one loose. I also think Bill had a great idea when he did his. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...r-in-pics.html

Be sure to leave him reps for that post.

If you can get a 2nd pair of hands have them hold it from turning and apply pressure with the other tool, hitting it with a hammer. Should pop it loose.
