I looked at my VIN tag and found it is a paint code of QR. I believe this is still the original paint so it should match.
From what I can tell researching online:
Q: Parrot Orange, Ford Code=M5403
R: Sequoia Brown, Ford Code=M5186
This is assuming the information from the website I referenced is correct.

This is my 77 with a 79 body on it. I am going to buy red paint tomorrow and need a paint code. From what I read here it should be "T" and "Candy Apple Red"??
Also I got new ION Black and silver rims and 33x10.50 tires put on today, I will post the new pic soon... its hot! It drive SOOOO much better that the 33x12.50s... wish I did this years ago

The orig seat covers are perfect under the blanky!
Note the new ION wheels and skinny tires... Also the hood no longer sports the F O R D dupe now just in the grill
