As another note, many seats set way to high and very hard to adapt in our trucks. Your head can rub on the roof unless you are very short. You'll notice the rails on these seats are very flat.

Great job...thanks for the info. The seats I'm using have nothing flat or easy about them on the bottom. The floor of the SUV was an odd shape, so I'll likely have to try and drill the rivets out and mount the mechanism on some sort of DIY brackets. Good thing they were free!
