hello all. i have a 07 f350 towboss crew cab 4x4 dually. i want to install a single wheel in the rear. does anyone make a direct bolt on. do i have to change all 4 rims or can i get a super single for the rear and keep the factory front rims on.
One guy did that and posted the pictorial on rv.net forum. That was few years back, but you might want to look at it.
His goal was to downsize the truck in downsizing business and liking the truck he wanted to lower the fuel consumption and tires cost.
The way he went was not cheap. He had to buy special spacers, deal with removal and refinishing fender flares.
Than he posted unbelievable fuel savings, but that was on the forum where members driving 30' motorhomes with gasoline engines report over 10 mpg. Even when towing a car behind.
Give me your dually spacers up front, rear axle, wheels and tires, and box, and you can have my rear axle, wheels and tires, and box, you get a single wheel F-350, I get my dually F-350 with a V-10, problem solved!
