As a suggestion when and if you ever have your transmission out bend over the pinch weld all the full circumference of the tranny tunnel. Like when doing the Down pipe. Driver's side firewall near the exhaust manifold/up pipe connection can be pushed back with a bottle jack (rearward direction) leveraged off the driver's side engine mount. This is worth while in my opinion as now I can remove the pipes no problem by sliding out the bottom.
