I bought the ford fuel filters and started the process of changing the fuel filters with the frame mounted filter. I tried to drain the fuel out of the filter. I put a 5 gallon oil pan under the drain and the volume never let up. I filled the 5 gallon pan and figured out something is wrong. My tank was full so I hope it is not that I have the drain my tank to do this. What has everyone else had when they changed theirs?
I filled two old DEF jugs, (5 gallon worth), with clean fuel before I got PO'd and just unscrewed the DFCM, and spilled on the floor. I mix the #2 diesel into my jugs of #1 diesel I use to heat my shop. Ain't no way I'm pouring that stuff back into the fuel tank. Might have to endure a lie detector test from FOMOCO sometime later in life.
I use the old DEF jugs for several things. Never have put bulk DEF in them yet. I don't think there is any close.
I don't reuse the fuel in the truck, either.
I use cleaned/dried 2 qt plastic Welches juice containers so I treat it as contaminated fuel.
Works good for other non-engine purposes, though.

...now that there is some funny stuff...don't care who you are...too bad it might be true
