transmission help
hi i have an 01 f350 cc sb with 5.4 and an automatic , i have a drop in rpm when on the throttle hard and it goes to shift in to 3rd or 4th gear as it shifts it goes in to gear and the decreses about 3-4hundred rpm like its dropping fuel pressure , have replaced pump with oem and fuel pressure regulator, and full tune up done 10,000 miles ago cant seem to find problem. i got the truck just about a year ago and put 25000 on it and it always had this issue just never worried about it now its just getting to me that i cant fix it Thanks in advance for any help!

Just wanted to thank you guys for the response. If i could get your advice again , i think tha i explaned it wrong i think i got my self confused , anyway its when it shifts its when your on the floor and its already changed gears and it backs off about 400 rpm as soon as it goes just above 3000 rpm, seens like it always does it at 3000.I was possibly thinking a dead spot in the mass air flow. If this still sounds like the converter locking then ii will leave well enough alone Thanks again
