ECC Swap compatability? OD Light Blinking...

ECC Swap compatability? OD Light Blinking...
My buddy came over yesterday with his 94 f150 5.0 MT 4x4. We did some work on the front end went to pull codes and figured out the ECC was bad. Today we swapped with an ECC we where told would be compatible the engine started up and ran great but when we went to drive the truck the OD light flashed and was in limp mode. No prior transmission problems so I figure the problem is between the 2 ecc's can any one tell me if these 2 are incompatible.

Here is one but they do not list the BBA (BUG0) computer.

The F4TF - AAA (HOG0) is for a E4OD Transmission .
The F4TF - BBA (BUG0) is for a 4R70W Transmission.

Con.. Ecc was in fail safe mode. Solid light. The truck has been doing very weird stuff. finaly would not run at all. Runs great with new ecc just will not drive!
